About the Creator

The Forge Suite is created and maintained by Cleon Williams, a developer and engineer with over a decade of experience. His expertise spans from his first skill, web development, to game development and automation systems engineering (n8n).

This diverse technical background is united by a core philosophy of "pragmatic idealism" and a passion for technological philanthropy, with the Forge Suite being his most ambitious philanthropic work to date.

The tools you see are a genuine feat of engineering. Creating complex, stateful applications like ERD Forge and FrameForge as single, self-contained HTML files is a difficult, "unorthodox" choice, reflecting a deep mastery of browser-native technologies over convenient crutches. This approach isn't a gimmick; it's the core of the mission.

The Forge Philosophy

The "why" behind Forge is stronger than most. This mission, described by Cleon as a "charge from God," is to build tools that empower rather than entrap.

It is an active counter-narrative to the dominant "rent-seeking" SaaS model, which often leads to digital dispossession—where your access to your *own work* can be revoked by a price hike or a policy change.
